What is an Australian Labradoodle?
Originating in Australia (hence the name) in the mid 70's The Australian Guide Dog association received a request for an allergy friendly guide dog. At the time they didn't have anything of the sort, so they decided to create a blend of Labrador and Poodle to try and fill this need. Although that step alone didn't gain much traction, it was the foundation block for what later became the Australian Labradoodle.

​ In the late 1980's Tegan Park Research center and Rutland Manor, the original founders of the Australian Labradoodle breed, began by breeding with a deliberate purpose and vision in mind. They worked for many years, with many generations, blending not just Labrador and Poodle, but also English and American Cocker Spaniel. Doing this improved consistency of their traits, including temperament, conformation, coat and size. And so was born the Australian Labradoodle as we know it today.

We started breeding dogs in 2020 after we got our first purebred, registered dog. We experienced first hand the consistency of traits, temperament, coat, size and health that were part of a well bred dog. That experience sparked a great joy and passion in me and I knew I wanted to breed dogs and share that quality and consistency of well-bred, well-raised dogs with others.
When I saw my first Australian Labradoodle, I was immediately obsessed and knew I wanted to own and raise this breed. My start may be small for now, with just one dog currently, but my heart for this breed is as big as it comes! I am passionate about the breed and have spent (and continue to spend) hours researching and learning about the breed, colors, traits, health, history, etc and just love everything about this amazing breed!

We ethically and responsibly breed Australian Labradoodles for their friendly personalities, versatility of size and their low-to-no shedding, allergy friendly coats. We breed for great health and longevity; loving, gentle, willing temperaments; and quality, in the Mini and Medium size.​​​​

What is a Guardian Family?
We occasionally have dogs or puppies available for Guardian Home. This means that a dog or puppy in our program, will be available to live with a family of their own, while still participating in our breeding program for a few litters. After which, the dog will be fixed (paid for by breeder) and released completely to the Guardian Family as their permanent forever family with no further obligations to the breeder.

This is a great opportunity for a family to get one of our selectively bred, well-raised, loving Australian Labradoodles at a deeply discounted price, while still receiving all the benefits of purchasing a dog from us. This includes lifetime support, and a dog with great health, temperament, and the best upbringing.

Meet Missy! Missy will be joining our program in April and we are so excited to meet her! Missy is 2.5 years old, already trained and a super sweet girl, with a gentle, mellow temperament and a desire to be with her people.
